At first I was hesitant to share this with my daughter as her father isn t in her life However, once we started reading those fears dissipated My daughter and I both adored this simple, beautiful and wonderfully diverse story The illustrations were beautiful of father s and children of all races Any book I m forced to read six times at the requests of my three year old must have done something right.
