I m a big fan of Stick Dog These books make me hopefully that even I could draw I enjoy that narrator who doesn t know as much as the reader Besides being funny, it s great literary technique to teach to kids I did want to eat a pizza after I finished this book.

I thought this Stick Dog book was mildly amusing and appreciated the few historical facts it sneaked into the story The characters come up with very creative ways to solve problems though many of the solutions are pretty far fetched My older daughter really likes Stick Dog and I think she will continue to read the books on her own.

This book was a surprisingly challenging book for me There are two other books in the series and are gradually becoming harder to read.I would give this book five stars because of the great theme and how humorous it was Stick Dog s friends aren t the smartest when it comes to anything This book was really intriguing and humorous I recommend this to all my classmates and to anyone who wants to read a non sad dog book.The ever lasting pursuit of food is gone once again.
I like Watson s perspective or how he gives unique voices to each of the characters in this book Poo poo the poodle, Stripes the spotted dog, and Stick Cat stuck in the car but it felt like it would have been a cute picture book or early reader chapter book rather than a 204 pager Granted, it s a super quick read, but I found myself rolling my eyes at the humor rather than laughing like I did at the first book But I DID finish this one, so something about it kept my attention.
This is the third book where Stick Dog and his friends are seeking out a delicious food His friends and he brain storm different ideas, and he proves to be a good leader, taking everyones ideas into account and delveloping the best method to get to it Its a great story for kids, and the drawings in stick figure form really add to the story.
