The opening novel of what could surely be a long series focusing on the time traveling family from London, the Bradbeers In all honesty, they only scratch the surface of the Bradbeers in this book Not giving away too much of their history or diving too far into any character, we only learn the basics The authors are no doubt making us wait and learn as each book comes along I didn t mind this because the book has a rapid pace and is filled with numerous thrilling adventures The main story line e [...]
I loved this book It s outside the genres that I would usually read I got it initially as a free book for my Kindle and was hooked within a few pages Although it is time travel based, the way it has been produced almost has you believing that this is possible Extremely credible and a fascinating storyline Since finishing, I have bought a paperback copy for my niece, am about to buy a signed copy for me and am getting very impatient for book 2 Read it I can t see many people being disappointed.
A Very Good Time Travel YarnOver the years I ve probably read than twenty time travel tales, from Jules Verne to the Time Traveler s Wife With the exception of the excitement from being introduced to the basic idea by Verne, I enjoyed The Time Store than any of them Most are thrillers with time complications or crises about getting back This is a moderately complicated story with several twists and a happy ending It is well plotted, the characters are well developed and it is a fun read I reco [...]
excellent read A real page turner Excitement on every page
I really enjoyed this book The only downside was the use of the f word I couldn t tell that it was necessary to the story, and I found it offensive Back to the story I loved it I liked the characters, they felt real to me The matter of time travel was quite well done Very interesting I didn t want to put the book down until I finished Of course, I had to Great book.
It was a very enjoyable time travel story Enough so that I purchased the second book in the series It was a bit hard following I guess I m slow at times But once I d catch up to happenings I d have to keep reading.
I am just super excited about wining this book I wanted to read it so badly Thank you so much for the opportunity Also, I certainly did appreciate the cheerful written on the inside of the book Also, it was great because both of the authors signed their names individually. Will start reading it soon Just finishing up one I am currently reading.
Amazing plot, a great readAmazed how this whole story was executed It gets little boring in the middle but it still does have hints of info only to be thought about later Very nicely written Loved it
The Time Store is a strong character driven novel with a magnetic quality which has the reader zoned into the lives of Dan, Jason, Sarah and David Bradbeer the proprietors of the altrusitc Time Store establishment. For reasons we don t yet know, the Bradbeer family and their ancestors have always been the proprietors of the Time Store, and each family member is able to time travel with the help of a custom built bracelet and ring They take their clients to various times and places for personal re [...]
I am a sucker for a time travel story This has loads and, as well, it puts a nice spin on it A family full of time travelers that do so for the leisure of others Very different I guess one could argue that Doc Brown used his time machine for leisure, but his was so disastrous I found that story was wound in a pretty straight forward way I was expecting the standard disjointed storytelling that comes with complicated Time Travel stories This was much fluid oddly There certainly were some questio [...]
My recent diet of books appear to have been time travel based So you can imagine you have to be pretty original in your take in order to hook me in And that is exactly what the Time Store does. The Bradbeers are a family who have had the secret of time travel passed down to them through the generations Proprietors of The Time Store they offer their clients the chance to time travel to either a famous historical event or something in the past or future that is personal to them.Imagine being able t [...]
This was a free download for kindle, but I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to own the paperback book too, so have purchased it directly from the Andrew Clark and Dee Matthews find their Facebook page I found the story gripping, I want to read about the family and their adventures The family start off by almost being a time travel agent missed a concert, want to research history etc They fund their life style by buying obtaining clocks and selling them in the Time Store They also have ancient c [...]
This is another free book I received with no obligations what so ever I loved this book I m not sure why either The characters didn t, for the most part, grab me There was a little awkwardness in the plot which may have, in all honesty, had as much to do with putting the book down in the middle of a chapter and not getting back to it for 2 days I just couldn t remember what was going on at that point And a few other things that just bugged me.Still, I just wanted to get back to it and didn t wan [...]
The Bradbeers have a time store where they sell timepieces They also have another business that is secret They can time travel and take clients forward or backward to observe and participate in something The main rule is not to mess with past events that change the future This book introduces you to the 3 siblings and their dad plus some clients Dan returns one time with no memory of what happened and with his arm burning Life goes on until 5 years later Then the answers begin to come. This book [...]
A tad too long between the two seminal events Not wanting to drop spoilers.Otherwise, a good read Nice take on time travel I like the idea of a time traveling family passed down through the generations However, strangely, I also just read another book with the generational time travel motif That made it a bit weird for me because I was really pleased by the other book s generational thing Kind of softened my enjoyment of a similar sub genre.Still, I recommend it for Timey Wimey lovers everywhen. I enjoyed this book the characterisation is sound and the plot is excellent very inventive and well thought out It s definitely able to be further developed into a cracking series. While the writing is good, with some interesting imagery and description, it could do with a good edit just to make it a bit sleek and appealing to a wide audience I d hate to think that would stop people from reading it, but it might Well worth a read
I m hoping for a prequelI quite enjoyed The Time Store, but the I read the I felt I needed to know about the beginnings of the time traveling family I have visited Greenwich many times Might I be bold and suggest the authors consider writing a story about the first generation discovering their talents back in the 16th century and visiting our times, stopping a few times along the way I think this would make a wonderful illustrated novel.
loved this book and could not put it down loved the details that made it a rich world and references to other incidents off the main story made it real for me a couple of disturbing passages made me wonder if I was reading the same book but I still read the whole thing in less than 24 hours
A really great read Right when you think you know where the plot is heading, something changes and it goes another direction Very easy to read and you really identify with the characters I enjoyed this book very much
I love a good Time Travel novel This one was really fun and I kept thinking it should be a television series Not the best in terms of writing style, but the story was good enough to keep me reading and now I m starting the second in the series.
Brilliant and intelligentEverything about this story was gripping A real time travel page turner with relatable characters and no SciFi Mumbo Jumbo Just good old fashioned time travel
Loved it Read it in two sittings and can t wait for the follow up.
Excellent twist on time travel Plus, lots of factual history twirling through the pages
Needless description of irrelevant details, such as how a beer was served, detracted from a generally good storyline Needs an editor s help.
UniqueThis is not your typical time travel book I have never read anything even close to this storyline and I read a lot Please get busy, I can t wait for .
AwesomeLoved it tremendously If it was longer,I would still be a reading it If anybody likes time travel Read the time store
Enjoyed this book than I thought I would. But then again, I m a sucker for Time Travel.
well written, enjoyed reading and will gladly read by this author
Awesome twist on the time travel genre which isn t easy to do although it could benefit from a tight edit the book is very well written, well plotted and well delivered.
I really enjoyed this Time travel books have always been difficult reads for me but this was an absolute pleasure to read, the development of the characters was well paced Cheers Andy
